Jim Sim Have you made or broken any New Year Resolutions yet?
Have you hit the gym and the diet yet? Or quit already? The end of year and/or the start of the year holds so many ups and downs of good faith commitments, goal setting, and optimistic claims for this year being a better one than last. I am totally into that. Why wouldn’t you want to make this year better than last?

Jim Sim Yes it’s December - again!
The end of the year is a good time to take stock I suppose, but it used to get me all worked up because of the review of the year, and awareness that I hadn’t met all my goals (who does?) and objectives, and now I was about to start new ones without the old ones complete. So guilt, feelings of failure, and a looming Christmas to-do list, would sweep over me and get me a bit heavy through what is arguably the best time of the year.
